We're the Neighboroo Crew, back for our second year at Walk a Mile in My Shoes. To us, neighboring — in the broadest sense — means being there for the people around you, whether they've been your neighbors for 30 years or 30 days. Jewish Family Services' work with newcomers and refugees runs on exactly that idea: housing, jobs, food, transportation, mental health support, and the everyday connections that help someone start over.
