This fall, I'm applying to PhD programs with the hope of examining the role that the environment plays in conflict and peace building efforts, devoting special focus on the health and experiences of refugees and those who endure forced migration as a result of living in conflict-affected areas. This walk is a wonderful way to share my support for a community that I care so deeply about.
