A Message From Ashlyn Victoria

When refugees first come to the United States, they find themselves in a completely new environment with systems, foods, and a culture that is often very different than they are used to. It can be overwhelming for people who are already deeply missing family members, friends, and other lives that they had to leave behind for their own safety. JFS provides a supportive environment that makes their transition less jarring, helping to connect them with healthcare, food deliveries (until they are set up with the resources to get their own food), a source of income, and housing.
