Dinner with the Chef is a unique dining experience in support of JFS' Nourish Nutrition Services Specialty Food Pantry and Commercial Kitchen. Dinner with the Chef is an intimate evening spent with a local chef in JFS' newly transformed Kitchen and Pantry. Enjoy a curated menu created in our brand-new state-of-the-art kitchen, while learning about the meaningful and ever-expanding services Nourish provides to our local community and beyond. Nourish Nutrition Services is comprised of a Specialty Food Pantry serving Washtenaw County, Meals on Wheels delivery service, and Congregate Meals for older adults. Nourish has also recently expanded its services to include Medically Tailored Meals for pregnant women experiencing gestational diabetes.Visit our Nourish Nutrition Services website to learn more.ABOUT CHEF JARED BOBKIN
Chef Jared Bobkin is an Executive Chef who has been featured twice on FOXs Hells Kitchen with Gordan Ramsay. Chef Bobkin has worked in high end restaurants all over Metro Detroit, as well as high end private clubs. He enjoys making food that is familiar to everyone but elevating it to the next level. Seafood is a passion, however, he does not limit himself to one type of cuisine, offering everything from classic French to Scandinavian to Indian.Chef Jared Bobkin was recently an integral part in opening the new Vive restaurant in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County is a private non-profit social services agency community founded in 1993. Originally established by the Jewish Federation of Washtenaw County to assist the growing number of refugee families in Ann Arbor from the former Soviet Republics, JFS has since grown into an organization providing programs and services ranging from older adult caregiving to resettlement and career services and more.
